MV Lifts was proud to be chosen by Nottingham Trent University for this Glass Scenic Lift Installation at their newly renovated University Hall in the Heart of the City of Nottingham, The former Wesleyan Chapel was purchased by NTU in 2017 with the view of converting into a venue for degree ceremonies and other prestigious events. The building has listed status and was constructed in 1854. This Glass Lift Installation runs over 3 floors and has an extra stop-off at the stage level that faces into the main hall, making the Lift car a through car dual opening door design.
The original building, most recently used as a synagogue, was constructed in 1854 to designs by Thomas Stimpson but a large rear extension was added in 1976.
