MV Lifts had two teams of engineers working at the same time on this installation for the University of Lincoln. Two Hydraulic lifts had to be removed with both pits suffering from Oil ingress that hindered the removal and having to work to a strict deadline whilst students were on summer break and most not in residence. This dual Traction Lift Installation was on either end of a bridge, the Arts Bridge spans over the main train line into Lincoln and the University has a campus split by this train line.
Our teams had to overcome various installation issues but we managed to install a pair of identical traction lifts just inside the deadline.
