Lift Installation at Cambridge Blackfriars, this is a priory in Cambridgeshire, England. It was established in 1238, dissolved in 1538 and re-established in 1938.
Today it continues to operate as a Dominican priory and the novitiate house of the English Province of the Order of Preachers
Blackfriars Priory in Cambridge was a recent install for MV Lifts, A new extension on the side of the building was constructed to house the lift since the concrete beam structure would not allow an internal shaft to be built, The lift is to be used mainly for funerals and disabled access to the 2nd-floor main chapel.
