Our People
Phil joined MV as Finance Director nearly 13 years ago and is passionate about continuing to build upon the 43-year legacy of the MV Lifts brand. Phil takes the lead on business strategy, finance, and holding the group accountable for performance as well as upholding our values, he has his finger on the pulse of all things MV lifts.
Luke started with MV in 2012 and trained as a lift engineer before stepping up into management. Luke has an absolute passion for great customer delivery and satisfaction as well as his technical understanding of the lift industry. Luke is responsible for management of the operations, delivery, contract management & negotiation.
Gavin is responsible for the Capital Projects Division for Management of Health & Safety. Having joined MV in 2003 he has many years of experience from working as an Installation assistant and an engineer before taking the leap into Management in 2017. Having quickly established himself as an integral part of the capital projects department. Gavin was promoted to Projects Director in 2022. Gavin has been able to transfer his knowledge and expertise into management and combine his experience with his customer focussed attitude to ensure our Projects Division are always industry-leading.

Matt joined MV Lifts Senior Leadership in 2022 with a vision of increasing market share by ensuring excellent service is provided and being focused on delivering the highest quality standard of sale, that always exceeds client expectations. Prior to his appointment with MV Lifts, he has held a variety of sales positions throughout the lift industry with over a decade of experience. Starting in the industry as a graduate in service sales with a global multinational, he then spent the next 11 years gathering experience in both Service and New Lift Installation departments with the multinationals.

Richard has superb technical understanding and leads our modernisation department. He is responsible for finding solutions for clients that are not looking for a new lift and would like to upgrade their current systems. Richard always ensures clients are listened to and that we provide the best possible options to meet their needs. He is also responsible for making sure the delivery of modernisations are done to the best possible standard.

Kim joined Morris Vermaport as a Sales Coordinator in 2008, working in the Capital Projects Department. Kim’s technical knowledge expanded over the years and she was promoted to the role of Technical Sales Manager. She is tasked with giving our clients the most up-to-date technical information, assisting Architects, Builders, Consultants, and End Users choose the right package to suit their requirements. Kim is passionate about providing the best solution to meet our client’s needs, which allows customers to make an informed choice regarding their lift installation, capitalising on the quality service that Morris Vermaport offers to their clients.

Hayley started at MV in 2016 with our Customer Support team where she managed several of our largest service clients. Hayley built up great relationships with her client base and ensured the client’s needs were always met and exceeded, earning her a promotion to a Supervisor role. Hayley believes excellent communication and pre-empting customers’ requirements are the key ingredients to ensuring a great relationship and therefore great continued business. Hayley moved over to the Capital Projects Sales team in 2022 and began learning a new side to the Lift Industry.

Mick Joined MV Lifts in 2015 and is responsible for the successful delivery of our capital projects and for our Engineers working safely on site as well as leading our Principal Contractor services to clients during installations where MV Lifts takes on the responsibility of being the Main Contractor. Mick is a career engineer starting out on a craft apprenticeship through to being Senior Engineer before moving into Project Management. Sadly Mick passed away in November 2022 and will be greatly missed by all, but he will not be forgotten. In June 2023 MV Lifts raised £5000 for Mick's chosen charity, Maggie's Cancer Support.
